腾讯科技讯 北京时间10月31日消息，据国外媒体报道，IBM表示，在高管罗伯特-莫法特（Robert Moffat）因卷入一桩备受关注的内幕交易丑闻而于两周前被捕后，公司将任命新高管接替其硬件部门掌门职位。

莫法特曾被视为IBM CEO彭明盛（Sam Palmisano）的接班人。莫法特自10月19日被捕后被强行休假。

罗德-阿德金斯（Rod Adkins）将接替莫法特，担任IBM系统和技术集团的高级副总裁。阿德金斯是IBM职位最高的黑人高管。

莫法特被指控向一家对冲基金会——盖伦集团（Galleon Group）传递内幕信息。

IBM发言人爱德华-巴比尼（Edward Barbini）周五表示：“鲍勃-莫法特因私人问题接受美国联邦调查局调查，他已被强行休假，已不再是IBM员工。”他没有披露更多信息，只是称IBM不会讨论现任员工或前员工的“个人问题”。

莫法特的律师在一份电子邮件声明中称，他的当事人将把时间和精力投入到为自己辩护中。

现年51岁的阿德金斯曾在IBM公司担任过不同的管理职位，并担任过IBM PC部门总经理。IBM在莫法特被强行休假后，曾任命阿德金斯暂时掌管硬件集团。（编译/夏爽）
